Mary Sue Coleman (born Wilson; October 2, 1943) was the 13th President of the University of Michigan.〔(Forbes biography )〕 In 2009, she was named one of the nation's "10 best college presidents" by ''Time''.〔(The Ten Best College Presidents ) in Time Magazine. She later received a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of North Carolina. Concluding in 2008, this campaign raised $3.2 billion - the most a public university has ever raised.
